Suffragettes at the Farm!

28 March, 2016 @ 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Clitterhouse Farm Project.

We’re planning a small history event at the Farm on Monday 28th March, which will focus on the suffragette movement and the life of Gladice Keevil – an influential suffragette who was born at Clitterhouse Farm.  There will be a presentation by Barnet local Mary Rowland who has carried out extensive research on the suffragettes of Holloway prison.

Our pop-up café – which is currently undergoing a makeover – will be open and serving hots drinks and snacks. We will also be offering some free barista training from 4pm. Please email paulette(@)clitterhouse(dot)com if you are interested in taking part. Places are limited.

This event is also part of the Find Your London #FindYourLDN Festival programme. You can find out more details of the other activities in the area – including a history walk to the farm – here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cricklewood-spring-tickets-21538030830
