‘Housing Village’ with Middlesex University [CANCELLED]
23 April, 2016 @ 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Please note: This event has unfortunately been cancelled by Middlesex University, due to a lack of funding. There will be an internal event on the 18th April at the University. Details will be provided shortly.
The Clitterhouse Farm Project have developed a working relationship with the lovely folk at Middlesex University’s School of Art and Design. They recently asked us to collaborate on a new creative project which they are working on with their students looking at the London housing crisis.
“The aim of this project is for students to create conceptual structures that reflect their collective personal experiences, ideas and opinions on the Housing Crisis and each individual’s experiences with housing. The structures can be an internal or external space: they could present a physical ‘home’ in representation of a personal experience or a section with a home that has had a number of issues that the Housing Campaign wishes to convey. With all the structures combined this creates ‘A Housing Village’, which shows a strong representation of various issues and negative situations with housing that need to be addressed.”
The event will take place on Saturday 23rd April. The exact details are still under negotiation, but there will be talks and workshops for all ages based around issues of housing in London. We will post up more information as and when it becomes available.
For now, please put Saturday 23rd April in your diary and spread the word about the event.
